Theatre for the Community is a new semi-professional company founded by Steve Cramer, a veteran of hundreds of amateur and professional stage productions around the region and in NYC. When forming the company, he was concerned about gathering such a diverse group of seasoned and interning actors (professional, amateur, and volunteers alike) under the “community theatre” banner. Finally, a simple thought spoken aloud of what he wanted—the very reason for creating a new company: “It's not 'community theatre'…it's Theatre for the Community!”
