Over the past few months, ShowBizRadio has been experimenting with linking to interesting articles and relevant reviews published elsewhere. But the ShowBizRadio site wasn’t designed to make it easy to browse for articles about specific groups or from other publications. So we’ve set up a new site that is only a collection of all the news, interviews and reviews of theater in the DC region.

That site is ShowBizTheaterDailyNews.com (abbreviated SBTDailyNews.com). On that site you can see at a glance links to everything published on DC region theater. Or you can search for specific publications, groups or topics.

Currently we are monitoring 21 different publications, but as we find new theater articles in a new publication, we start tracking those publications as well. If you know of any other regional newspapers we should know about, please let us know. Publications include:

We hope you’ll browse this new site, and make it a part of your regular research as you continue to discover all the theater that is available in the northern Virginia, Washington DC, and central and southern Maryland areas.

Laura & Mike Clark started ShowBizRadio in August 2005 because they love live theater. They each earned a Career Studies Certificate in Theater from Northern Virginia Community College. Mike is stage managing Prince William Little Theatre's February 2009 production of Pippin and looking for his next gig. If you need a stage manager, talk with Mike.
