Check Out CCT2FP’s New Blog

By Laura & Mike Clark • Jul 19th, 2008 • Category: ShowBizRadio

The newly merged CCT2FP Theatre Company is blogging about their August production of Bare: the Musical. Right now they are posting brief interviews with the cast. Check it out at http://cct2ftblog.blogspot.com/.

Adding a blog to your theater’s web site is a great way to get your audience involved with your shows. Write a bit about what is happening behind the scenes of your shows. Do some brief interviews. Post rehearsal photos. Talk with the designers. Make it fun. Your web site does not need to be all press releases/official board approved materials. And you can update your site more than three times a year. Using a blog makes it simple to do all of this, and more. Contact Mike if you’d like to be walked through the process. It isn’t difficult. Actually, the hardest part is getting started.

Laura & Mike Clark started ShowBizRadio in August 2005 because they love live theater. They each earned a Career Studies Certificate in Theater from Northern Virginia Community College. Mike is stage managing Prince William Little Theatre's February 2009 production of Pippin and looking for his next gig. If you need a stage manager, talk with Mike.
