Washington Post: “Second Act” Behind the Scenes at Duke Ellington’s The Wiz
By Laura & Mike Clark • Apr 12th, 2008 • Category: Cappies, News, Published ElsewhereRobin Rose Parker wrote a wonderful behind the scenes article “Second Act” about Duke Ellington School of the Arts’ February production of The Wiz. The production had a $200,000 budget, and involved nearly 200 students from all eight of the school’s arts disciplines: theater (acting), technical theater, dance, vocal music, instrumental music, visual arts, museum studies and literary media.
One of the Cappies reviews was published here at ShowBizRadio, Cappies Review of Duke Ellington School of the Arts, The Wiz. That review was written by Amanda Litman of Robinson High School.
