The Heritage Theatre Company Casting Call for Pueblo
By Laura & Mike Clark • Feb 6th, 2008 • Category: NewsThe Heritage Theatre Company, a non-Equity company in Silver Spring, Maryland, still has several roles to fill for it’s September 12 - October 11, production of Pueblo, the Stanley R. Greenberg drama about the 1968 U.S.S. Pueblo incident and the courageous crew who survived it. This is an all-male cast. Several roles — including ‘Commander Bucher’ — have already been cast. All roles, however, are excellent.
- 4 U.S.S. Pueblo crewmembers; non-Equity Males in their 20s. Thin - medium build and no taller that 6′1″
- ‘Super C’: a superb role for an experienced stage actor only. Actor should be in his 30s, dark hair, and between 5′10″ - 6′. Thin build. Capable of delivering “white” hatred.
- A few roles still available for men in their 30s - 50s for
- Congressmen
- Admirals
- Court of Inquiry members (Presiding Officer and Court Counsel)
- The Negotiator
Pueblo is being presented September 12 - October 11; during the 40th anniversary of the seizure of The U.S.S. Pueblo by North Korea. “Pueblo” will be presented as a private performance for the actual crew of The U.S.S. Pueblo at their historic 40th anniversary reunion in Burlington, Vermont on September 12. All actors must be available to be out of the area from September 10 - September 13. For this special performance, transportation, food, and lodging will be provided. Performances from September 19 - October 11 (Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays) will be in Silver Spring, Maryland.
