Using Online Video to Advertise Your Shows
By Laura & Mike Clark • Feb 5th, 2008 • Category: BackstageBack in April, we encouraged you to use video to advertise your upcoming shows. Second Flight Productions made a video for their next show, Closer, opening next Friday evening.
The Arlington Players developed two different videos. One was to advertise their Fall production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
and the other was to advertise their complete 57th season.
TAP’s Joseph video was very creative, especially because they didn’t use any of the scenes from the show. With video cameras are coming down significantly in price, and with tools like Apple’s iMovie and Microsoft’s Movie Maker, you can make an acceptably good video without much added expense.
