NVTA Announces Important Dates for This Year’s One Act Festival
By Laura & Mike Clark • Jan 7th, 2008 • Category: NVTA, News |Zina Bleck and Deb Crawford, co-chairs of the 2008 NVTA One Act Festival, announced today the dates of this year’s One Act Festival, as well as important deadlines for groups interested in performing. The festival will be held at the James Lee Center in Falls Church, Virginia, on June 13, 14, 20, 21, with the awards ceremony on Sunday, June 22.
If your group is interested in performing, contact Zina Bleck at (zbleck -at- aol.com) for more information and the forms you need to fill out. The entry form and fee is due February 29, 2008.
For the 2007 Festival, we interviewed many of the directors, performers, and Zina and Deb. Those interviews (audio and transcripts) were quite interesting, showing the wide rage of types of shows performed at the Festival. They are available online.
Laura & Mike Clark: started ShowBizRadio in August 2005 because they love live theater. We are both working towards a Theater certificate from Northern Virginia Community College. They are on the crew with NWTG's The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged), opening July 11th.
