TOYL Wednesday and Thursday Rehearsals
By Laura & Mike Clark • Sep 29th, 2006 • Category: The Time of Your Life |Wow, what a week! Wednesday and Thursday night we ran through large pieces of the The Time of Your Life. We’re working on refining the blocking, and getting the timing down. My longest scene is at the end of the last act, and it’s the one I feel most comfortable with. I have an extended physical gag I have to do, which I’ve been practicing on, but it’s tricky. (No, I won’t tell you what it is, you need to come see the show.) I got through it ok on Wednesday night, but on Thursday night I got tripped up when the audience started to laugh. So now I’m also learning to ignore anything that is not on stage. I’ve also been told I need to work on my explosive anger or rage emotions.
